Find, reserve, and renew library materials with the click of a mouse…

Nassau Libraries Catalog (available at search.nassaulibraries.org) offers the following features: all physical & digital items and editions for a title can be found in one place; get suggestions as you type to make searching faster & easier; when you’re logged in, items from your home library are listed first; compatibility with screen readers and assistive technology.

The classic catalog, ALIScat indexes materials from participating Nassau county libraries.

LI LINK enables patrons to search and request materials from libraries county wide through a cooperative between participating Nassau and Suffolk libraries.

For materials not available in the Nassau or Suffolk County library system catalogs, a Reference Librarian can perform an extended search to find the item outside of our system.

Use the online catalog to manage your library membership account.

The first time you click on log in, you will be asked to enter your name, library barcode (on the back of your library card) and a personal identification number (PIN) that you create yourself. (We do not assign it.) You will need to re-enter this basic information every time you access your account again.

Here are some of the things you can do with your personal account:

  • Check the due date of your loans
  • Renew or request materials from Nassau County and Suffolk County
  • Change your PIN, phone number, or email address
  • View and pay your fines
  • Opt-in to view your Reading History (Only items checked out after you opt-in will be available to view)

You have the option to receive courtesy notices by email or text message. Courtesy notices will alert you when materials are about to come due, or requested items have arrived.
