Teens and Tweens

West Hempstead teens in grades 9-12 may choose from a list of suggested books (or request a book you want to read and wait for approval) and submit a review to be featured on our Teen Page. Each review submitted and approved counts as an hour of community service. Teens will receive a certificate with up to 8 hours of community service each school year from this project.

Before you fill out the review form please make sure you have completed and handed in the Review Crew Volunteer Form. You only need to fill this form out once. It can be emailed to [email protected] OR dropped off at the Teen Desk in person.

If you would rather write your review by hand you can print out the form or pick up a copy in the library. Call (516) 481-6591 ext. 18 with any questions.
